I remember our visits to Jamestown. I preferred coming home to going away on other vacations. I really needed and wanted to be connected to family. I miss those times a great deal! Easter egg hunts, was a big one and July 4th parties at the lake. My house,
My parents are in the process of selling & moving out of my childhood home so there has been a lot of looking through old photos. It's been fun going down memory lane but it has me thinking similarly about the iphone. Now we have the capability to take hundreds of photos a day & curate the best ones for social but rarely do they ever move off of our devices. I'm definitely guilty of this myself & always wonder what collection of photos & videos will I still have in the next 10, 20 years to look back on, if any?!
Greg and I force our girls to watch our wedding video with us every year on our anniversary! I wasn’t on team video before my own wedding but now I 100% am. Since our wedding we’ve lost several loved ones and seeing them on the dance floor at our wedding every year is the fucking best.
Love this so much, especially from my anniversary twin!! Same here, it's my one regret - with all those VHS tapes as pillars in our family, I didn't do video for the wedding. Now I always tell people to hire video - even just a highlight, but after watching those long 90s videos, I'm like GET IT ALL. 20 minute recap! RAW FOOTAGE! ALL OF IT! hehe

Aunt Jay’s house, parties on Prospect. Loved it!
